                                        The Lesson from a Pencil

                                        1.        Remember that where you go, you are going to leave a mark.
                                        2.       It is inevitable that you are going to make mistakes. You have the ability to correct them yourself.
                                        3.       Never forget that it is what inside you that counts.
                                        4.       Every now and then you are going to get a little worn down and it is likely that you will need a bit of sharpening. It could be painful, but you will be better off for it.
                                        5.       Perhaps the most important of all:  Even the best pencil in the world won’t make a lick of sense without the right hand to guide it.
