About Mr. Stracco
Mr. Stracco is a graduate from East Stroudsburg University(1993) and Ramapo College (2005). He is currently celebrating his eleventh year at Rutherford High School. In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Stracco provides professional development for the district, is the co internal coordinator of the Strategic Planning Committee, is part of the district Professional Development Committee, has presented numerous professional development seminars, was the class advisor for the Class of 2004, Class of 2005 and the Class of 2011, he also serves on the Assessment Committee for the high school. Mr. Stracco presently is serving his first term as Co Vice President of the REA. Recently, Mr. Stracco completed the necessary requirements to be an Instructional Supervisor in the State of New Jersey. In 2012, Mr. Stracco was recognized as Rutherford High School's "Teacher of the Year." During the 2012- 2013, Mr. Stracco will also serve as the Director for the All School Play and Spring Musical.

Mr. Stracco's Mission Statement:
"It is my responsibility to positively promote education; to provide insight, knowledge, discernment, and wisdom within individuals as they become lifelong learners full of compassion, humility, self confidence and enthusiasm. Throughout the year, I want each student to learn to take risks, to grow through their mistakes, and to recognize his/her full potential through the use of collaboration, problem solving, accountability, responsibility, assessment, and reflection while using critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, communication skills , collaboration, creativity and innovation. Developing these skills is essential for the growth, prosperity, and conscientious decision making necessary for the 21st century and beyond."- Mr. Stracco
