English 300 focuses on British Literature.  The themes addressed in English 300 include the duality of man; good vs. evil; ambition; the pursuit of knowledge; revenge, responsibility to mankind.  Further, vocabulary and HSPA/ SAT skills are embedded in daily activities as well as different assignments. It is the student's responsibility to transfer those skills to not only everyday life, but also to standardized test taking situations and other content areas.

The Common Core Standards are here.
