Disclaimer: The assignments listed here are up to date. Assignments may be altered or adjusted due to different events. It is the student's responsibility to maintain  work, or work that has been missed due to an absent. Moreover, as per the Board of Education policy, "Students are required to write down homework assignments in class. Electronic Homework Posting is meant as an aid for students and parents and is not a substitute for writing down homework and important dates in planners. Internet outages, webpage outages, or lack of Internet access will never suffice as an excuse for missed assignments. Assignments are posted daily on the chart paper in room 212
                                        **************************************************************
According to Board Policy, "All class work and homework assignments due to absence are to be made up within a time period specified by the classroom teacher or administrator. The student is expected to show initiative in seeking out a teacher to determine what assignments were missed and when these shall be due. Work can be sent home to any student involved in an extended absence. " According to Mr. Stracco's class requirements, "Students who are absent will have one day for each day he or she is absent to make up work. For example, if a student is absent on a Monday, he or she will have until Wednesday to make up the work." No work will be made up past the designated time. Students should not ask Mr. Stracco to make up work after that designated time. For example, students should not ask for assigned work  in October to be made up in December. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY!

Not only are we concentrating on our content in this course as prescribed by the approved curriculum, but there will be a strong emphasis on the 21st century skills of : responsibility, accountability, collaboration, creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem solving and communication.
