Alphabet Variety

You can vary your sentence openers by writing a story or article in which each sentence begin with a different letter of the alphabet.

WRITING

What happened to writing?  Really, what happened to it?  Incredibly, it has become laborious and tedious.  Teachers try to incorporate more and more writing into their curriculums and, at times, they succeed.  Insecure students are hesitant and reluctant to venture into this domain.  Never, do they resist the opportunity to share what is on their mind. It is time now for these students to put their ideas on paper.  Get writing!!

Alphabet Acoustics

You can vary your sentence beginning by using a system called acrostics.  In acrostics, you start each sentence with a word that begins with a specific letter of the alphabet.

Well developed sentences lead to success. Relating all the sentences together becomes the key to success in writing. Integrating and expanding ideas helps to get the ideas across to the reader.  The thoughts which connect to each other help form a comprehensive and concrete paragraph or paper.  Intertwining these thoughts with metaphors or similes also helps the reader to fully understand your thought process. Never should you give up on the wonderful gift of writing.  Go for the gusto and push yourself.
